Geofencing/Addressable Geofencing

Geo-fencing is a way to engage consumers based on location. Other forms of advertising are based on what you watch and listen to, what you read, and what you search for, but geo-fencing is primarily based on where you are located at any given time. We can create a geo-fence for the area surrounding your business location. When mobile devices pass through the targeted area, they would receive a location-triggered ad that makes them considerably more likely to stop in and shop.

Imagine you are a women’s clothing retailer. ARG’s smARt platform can set up a geo-fence that targets individuals visiting other women’s clothing stores in your market. When these customers enter the designated geo-fenced area (such as a shopping center or a competitor’s store), they can be served an offer from your store directly onto their mobile device, encouraging them to visit your location to comparison shop before they make their purchase.

Addressable Geofencing

Addressable Geo-fencing is an even more granular type of Geo-fencing, whereby your messaging can reach people on their mobile devices when they are at a specific street address or GPS location. ARG’s smARt Addressable Geo-fencing targets physical addresses with GPS and plat line data (as opposed to traditional IP addresses), providing an even more precise and customizable target area.

ARG can create a custom list based on your marketing and business goals.  Once the specific criteria of your target audience are determined, the addresses can be used for an Addressable Geo-fencing campaign.  Your ads can then reach prospective customers in their homes – or any other desired locations – on all the devices they are using.
